The Sant’Andrea hospital is a public university hospital that ensures four types of assistance:
- examinations with a specialized doctor (e.g. dermatologist, cardiologist, ophthalmologist) at the outpatient services;
- diagnostic analysis and testing (e.g. blood tests, magnetic resonance, radiography);
- hospitalization for one or more days in a ward in order to undergo operation or for testing that require an extended period;
- Emergency Department services needed in case of urgency (accident, injury, life threatening situations).
